There are two things Colton Wheeler loves, being a lawman and his lover Dr. Diego Del Rio.If he had to choose between the two it was no contest, Diego was his world.When his world is turned upside down, leaving him in the hospital and Diego hurt, scared and on the run for murder, Colton will stop at nothing to right his world again and bring his lover back home.
Fearless was a story of twists and turns that had me anxious to see how it would end.The attack on Colton and Diego's world was sadistic and even more sadistic was the discovery of the attacker and why.Even though I figured out the 'who' very quickly, the 'why' certainly wasn't for the reason I thought.Colton was a strong character that saw the big picture and his actions were the result of that.As he would say he sees in gray where some people only see in black and white, and going by this story narrow-mindedness can be very disturbing.Colton was Diego's protector and it was obvious how much he loved Diego, I wished Diego had trusted more in Colton's strength instead of continuing to run, then maybe we would have gotten more of a feel of their relationship together.I liked what Sarah Black was trying to accomplish with Fearless but I felt it was too great a storyline for the length of the book, the wrap up felt too rushed.

Review of Gynomite: Fearless, Feminist Porn (Paperback)

First of all, the book is both moving and laugh-out loud hysterical.Three of the writers were featured before a poetry slam here in Phoenix and the sample poetry and stories they presented to the audience were unbelivable; the entire room was both captivated and amused.That was just a small sample; the book itself is even better.

Review of Alpha Romeos (Paperback)

Whew! Check out the guy on this cover. He is HOT!!!

ALPHA ROMEOS is what I call creative, original, and STIMULATING. Not necessarily an erotic romance, it is definitely one intense and highly EROTIC adventure! Erotic romance authors, Rhyannon Byrd and Madison Hayes, both know exactly how to turn up the HEAT!

Warrick and Dye were some of my favorite MH characters in the book, KINGDOM OF KHAL: REDEEMING DAVIK, and I was so thrilled to see them as key players in this story. Colin, however, was an unfamiliar character to me. (I hadn't read RB's Magick Men series). Yet while reading this book I couldn't help but fall in love with him. By the end of the story, I actually wanted him for my own!

This book is really one of the better erotic reads I've read in a long time. The sex is amazing--descriptive and very creative! I love the provocative dialogue, too. The crude language may offend some readers, but I love it! It's stimulating and NOT forced or contrived. In addition, the story is well-plotted. There is great action (with two unexpected, but fierce fighting sequences), good pacing, and a very captivating storyline.

I found it to be a very enjoyable read for the most part, (i.e., until towards the end, after that really engaging battle scene with "the glob"!). Though very sweet the added romance didn't do it for me. I wish more time was spent on Warrick's "romantic" relationship with one of the enchanted sisters. The romance felt cheated and the sex scenes were lukewarm at best--nothing compared to the earlier ones in the story!

Nevertheless, I still had so much fun reading this book. These "Alpha Romeos" are totally unforgettable. They are a hilarious bunch--not to mention sexy, charming, and oh so lovable. When I finished the story, I didn't want to let them go!

I have had this on my bookshelf for quite some time, and I should have read it earlier!

I have read many paranormal romances and I thoroughly enjoyed the wit of this character, Jessica Matthews.She is tough, hilarious, sexy, and has some delicious come-backs for anyone who annoys her.
